Field Note #2: Access, Not Storage
Jun 19, 2026There is a common belief that the body is a storage facility—that the tissues themselves hold memories, stories, and energies.
If we follow that belief, it can lead us down many pathways of becoming the victim of situations in our lives. The body becomes, yet again, a problem to solve or fix. We must cleanse, clear, heal, release, or suffer our way toward freedom.
When we adopt this acquisition mindset, we may also feel the need to do more, get more, find out more, practice more, study more, memorize more, or perfect more.
Many healing modalities reflect this belief in holding or losing something essential. Consider ideas such as soul loss, stolen energy, lack of power, or the constant need for protection. Consider painful initiations, long cleanses, sustained discomfort, or practices rooted in enduring hardship.
But what if you cannot lose your soul?
What if your power is not separate from what you are?
What if you are already made of stars, water, living wisdom, life, discovery, air, connection, and so much more?
What if the body is not a place of storage, but a point of access?
A living channel.
Alive in each moment.
Continuously participating in and expressing the field.
In this model, the body does not store life—it expresses it.
It becomes a living channel through which experience, perception, and belief are continually revealed and reflected.
If your fundamental belief is that the body is a storage facility, that reality may become embodied and expressed through your experience.
But if the body is a point of access, an entirely different relationship becomes possible.
I propose that our deepest healing and greatest protection are found by returning to life-force itself—to the living waters—and learning to listen from this place of natural wisdom.
This week, explore these possibilities.
Ask your heart.
Ask your living wisdom.
Listen for what is already here.
