Jungle Ceremonies
The Sanctuary at Moonflower Farm, Belize
Enjoy beautiful and healing Nature practices in Belize
A place to Remember.
When we get really quiet inside, our hearts can access the Divine guidance. Mother Earth shows us the way.
Honor your body as Nature.
Your body as living water is your most dedicated servant, always there, always expressing your spirit.
Healing is what we are.
The Waters allow us to heal, transform, absorb and reflect the Light of our Eternal Soul.
Moonflower Cacao Ceremony
Our cacao ceremony begins with a Belizean grown cacao tea infused with local herbs and spices and lightly sweetened with honey.
The warm drink is received as we invite our gratitude to nature all around us and especially to the trees that have impacted us through our lives.
The ceremony continues with light incense and cleansing plants. The scent of copal resin blesses the space, while sage grounds you and cedar highlights our connections with life.
As the cacao begins to work with you, it offers a heart opening and a sense of light and peace throughout your body. We follow this with very gentle guided movements to open the channels of energy, and release tensions in the body.
You are then led into a relaxation, soothed by the healing vibrations of the gongs and singing bowls. The moonflower sanctuary space rests along the jungle and creek adding their sounds to the deep experience of healing and rest.
Jungle Tea Ceremony and Rain Forest Immersion
Simply being in Nature is healing and when we invite our conscious awareness, deep listening and clear observation, we become an active participant in this beautiful eco-system of life.
The Japanese even have a name for this nature healing called "shinrin yoku", translated to forest bathing.
This session begins with consciousness practices that open our senses of observation. These are practices that blend ancient and contemporary rituals with incense, meditation and breath.
Throughout the ceremony we drink different teas from our local flowers, trees and plants.
We do an easy stroll through the sanctuary with places to pause, meditate, relax and listen. There are places with benches, shalas and tree circles.
You are introduced to multiple ways of tree and plant communication for messages and guidance in your life - inspiring you to continue with these practices in your daily life.
White Shell Wisdom Water Blessings
"Dive" into the beautiful world of living water.
All living beings - plant, fungi, animal and human - are mostly water. We are living water.
While most of us have been taught in school about the 3 phases of water, there is so much more being discovered and explored about Water including new phases, abilities to absorb and release energy, consciousness, and an overall aliveness. Water is listening.
Our body is mostly water at 70% water by weight and 99% water by molecule count. It shapes our form and it moves us. All of our movement can be seen through the movements of water.
This session includes natural and easy movements to discover the tidal flows and rhythms within your body. Our breath is the primary tidal rhythm. From there, we find ripples of movements through our arms and legs.
Meditations and relaxations with natural breath connect us with this primal and healing rhythm.
Water is also a sound carrier and amplifier - sound healing is brought into the sessions, reaching the inner rivers of our vessels.
Just beyond the Moonflower shala is a seasonal creek that surfaces during wet season and drops underground during dry season, we will connect to this flow through meditations and contemplations. When it is at the surface, we can even get our feet wet and listen to the currents.
Finally, we bless our filtered fresh water and enjoy a fruit and water drink.
